University shot footage

Shot in the photography studio at University, I shot this using a Digital SLR connected to a television, with a DV camcorder filming the live footage through the tv screen. The result is a heavily distorted grungy looking video with almost voyeuristic qualities - as if it was captured without consent.

Backmasking

I've started exploring the possibility of introducing subliminal messaging into the virals. On youtube there seems to be many 'reversed audio' videos of various well known film's dialogue or well known music which apparently has hidden messages. This is called backmasking.

This is the song 'Blush' reversed, being very instrumental, its difficult to make out any noticeable words.



I plan on recording some messages and reversing them, I shall post updates in future blog posts.
